Smarter Choices, Smarter Places
On Wednesday 13th August the Scottish Government announced that Glasgow City Council was one of seven local authorities that had been successful in bidding to be part of the Sustainable Travel Demonstration Communities project “Smarter Choices, Smarter Places”This means that £2.5 million will be spent helping to improve the health of residents of as well as making sustainable travel more affordable. The funding will also help Glasgow work towards the Scottish Governments target of cutting Scotland’s CO2 emissions by 80% by 2050For more information on the plans for the money, please see the PDF downloads of the bid documents
