The school catering service has been redeveloped over the last few years under the banner Fuel Zone. The Fuel Zone has revolutionised the catering service in all primary and secondary schools.

The traditional counter has been replaced with a 'High Street' style queuing system with the focus on creating a bright, informal and encouraging atmosphere where children can enjoy their lunch.

Pupils can enjoy a wide range of food all prepared and presented in an exciting and innovative way. There are also initiatives in place to encourage pupils to select healthier eating choices. In primary schools free milk is available at lunchtime to all pupils.

In Glasgow's 29 secondary schools, the Fuel Zone Points Reward project allows pupils to accumulate points awarded for healthy eating which can then be exchanged online for some great rewards. Visit www.fuelzone.co.uk for more information.
