The Childcare Strategy Manager within the service is responsible for progressing strategic developments in early years education and childcare and the administration of Childcare Strategy and Sure Start budgets.

Seven priorities for support have been established:
1 Sustainability
2 Childcare Strategy Funding (Priority2) Application 2009-10 (485k - 21 pages)
3 Childcare Strategy Funding (ASL - Mainstream) Application 2009-10 (284k - 15 pages)
4 Training
5 Childcare Strategy Funding (health and safety) Application 2009-10 (274k - 14 pages)
6 Environmental Play (271k - 14 pages)
7 Vulnerable Families (299k - 16 pages)
Priority 1
The Application Form and timescale for Childcare Strategy Funding 2009/2010 - closing deadline was Friday 7 November 2008 at 12.00 noon.
PLEASE NOTE:
The applications for Childcare Strategy Funding under Priority 1 will not be available until September 2009.
Priorities 2 to 7
Funding for priorities 2 to 7 will be available throughout the financial year. A pro-forma to request financial support under priority 2,3,5,6 & 7 can be accessed above. Priority 4 must be requested from Early Childhood & Extended Services on the number below.
