The Childcare Strategy Manager within the service is responsible for progressing strategic developments in early years education and childcare and the administration of Childcare Strategy and Sure Start budgets.

Childcare Strategy Funding 2009/2010

Full details of all Childcare Strategy Funding priorities for 2009/2010 are contained within Funding Application Guidelines for 2009/2010

 

Five priorities for support have been established:

1 Sustainability 

2 New Childcare Places/Expansion

3 Support the Inclusion of Children with Additional Needs

4 Training

5 To Improve Standards of Health and Safety

The Application Form and timescale for Childcare Strategy Funding 2009/2010:

 

Completed applications for Childcare Strategy Funding must be submitted by email before the application submission deadline of Friday 7 November 2008 at 12.00 noon:

Priorities 2 to 5

Funding for priorities 2 to 5 will be available throughout the financial year. A pro-forma to request financial support under these priorities should be requested from Early Childhood and Extended Childcare Services

 

PLEASE NOTE:
Application pro-formas for funding 2009/10 under priorities 2 to 5 will not be available until April 2009.
