St Paul’s High was created through the refurbishment, under the city council’s own capital programme, on the periphery of the Pollock Country Estate. Dramatically improved teaching facilities are designed to hold its 950 pupils
A large library, improved social spaces and an IT Learning Centre form the heart of the school
The school now houses:
• 23 general classrooms
• 6 dedicated ICT teaching areas
• 9 science labs
• 3 technical rooms
• 5 art and design rooms
• 3 home economics rooms
• 2 music rooms
• a drama studio
• 2 gymnasia
• a games hall
• a purpose built oratory.
Physical education facilities include 4 indoor areas, a swimming pool and upgraded outdoor sports pitches. Although this work was all completed by the Council, 3ED have ‘adopted’ the school and it is now incorporated into the scope of our ongoing Facilities Management, Lifecycle, and ICT services
