International School

Shawlands Academy, as it develops as Glasgow's International School, is in the unique position of being able to offer a particularly wide range of modern, European and Asian Languages. The following languages are currently available at a range of levels and across all stages of the school - French, German, Spanish, Urdu and Italian.

As an examination centre for a range of community languages within the City, we have developed close links with many of the minority ethnic groups which contribute to the rich diversity of Scottish life. As a school, we have established links with partner schools in Norway, Austria, Spain and the Czech Republic.
