Glasgow City Council also supports the Clyde Sailing Trust.  This trust operates an ocean-going vessel called 'East End Endeavour', which is available for sail training for small groups of young people.

Outward Bound

Several schools have developed strong links with Outward Bound, both through the Leadership for Life, sponsored by the Mark Scott Foundation, and through programmes developed to meet the needs of particular groups of pupils.

Drumchapel Adventure Group Ltd is a registered charity providing outdoor education opportunities throughout the Greater Glasgow region.  The group operates an affiliation system for community groups, schools, mental health organisation, social work groups and employment training agencies, supplying them with activity programmes on an 'at cost' basis.
