You are not alone in having concerns about bullying and its effects. Some sources of information and help are provided below.

Anti-bullying Network
The Anti-Bullying Network relaunched in October 2007 as a not-for-profit company and is now a registered Scottish charity


Childline
Childline offers support for young people through its helpline and website. Childline can be contacted about any problem, at any time through its free 24-hour phone line: 0800 44 11 11 (textphone: 0800 40 02 22).


Childline's website has a number of help and advice sections including one on bullying.


Parentzone
The Parentzone site offers a broad range of information for parents, carers and others responsible for school age children. The website also provides a comprehensive list of links to useful organisations and recent publications. Bullying is one of the areas in which it provides information.

Respectme
Offering advice, support and training on policy and practice development. Working with everyone who comes into contact with children and young people to increase their confidence and competence to deal with those who are bullied and those who are bullying others.



Sense Over Sectarianism (SOS)
Sometimes bullying can be based on religious differences. Sense Over Sectarianism is a partnership with funding from the Scottish Government. It gives grants to people setting up projects or programmes that challenge sectarianism or bigotry in the wider Glasgow area.
