Health and Safety Policy

This Policy provides a general vision and arrangements in relation to health and safety for the Council. It sets out our general approach, objectives and the arrangements that have been put in place for managing health and safety.

 

 

This policy is support by a number of detailed Policy Arrangements, Service Procedures and Standards. Under the terms of this Policy each Council Service will develop a Health and Safety Manual containing the following in respect of Health and Safety at Work:

 
  • A Service Health and Safety Policy;
  • Management Orgnaisation;
  • Policy Arrangements;
  • Service Procedures and Standards.
