Chatterbooks

Chatterbooks groups are just what they sound like: we read books and we chatter about them!  Why not join in at:

Chatterbooks are for 8-12 year-olds and meet every fortnight.  And that's not all - sometimes we have special events like visits from authors and illustrators, storytelling or computer-based activities.

Fun Folder

Our Fun Folder is packed with things to do - wordsearches, colouring-in sheets etc.  Browse through the folder, choose your favourite activity and our friendly library staff will give you everything you need to get started.  A great way to pass some time in the library.

Competitions

Regular fun competitions and quizzes are available... from colouring-in to writing stories.  You could be a winner!

Author visits

Authors talk about their books and inspire children to read and write their own stories.  A great opportunity to ask a ‘real’ author questions!

If you are interested in coming along to any of the above activities or need more information, please contact your local library or:
