The Tales of Olga da Polga

Michael Bond

‘From the very beginning there was not the slightest doubt that Olga Da Polga was the sort of guinea-pig who would go places.’

This is no ordinary guinea-pig with no ordinary name, who tells great stories – even if they’re not completely true.

Michael has written more books about Olga e.g. ‘Olga follows her Nose’ and he is the creator of the very lovable ‘Paddington Bear’.

He used to work as a camera man for the BBC, until his books became so popular he was able to give that up and write full time – lucky man.
