By bringing your child to the library, you can give them one of the most precious gifts of all - a lifelong love of reading.

All our community libraries have bright, colourful children's areas, with lots of books, CDs and DVDs to choose from.  New books by the latest authors are added weekly, and we also stock your old favourites.  All of this AND free computer use.

  • The Basics - Finding the book(s) you want

  • Top Tips - Ten suggestions to help you share books with your young child
  • The Learning Post - School homework, topic and project help for your child
