A very simple idea indeed and great for schools located near one of our 34 community libraries.
After arranging for all pupils to have library cards, we invite you to bring your class to the library every month, to choose books and return books from the previous visit.
This is a great way to make pupils familiar with their local library and encourage the library habit.
When possible a member of our Young People's Team will attend to storytell and help the children browse.
Book exchange visits are open to every primary class and your local library will be happy to discuss with you the best times for your class to visit.
