Reference Visits
Library staff explain the type of information contained in our Reference book collection - encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesarus etc. Pupils are then given specific pieces of information to find, to ensure understanding.
Pupils can work alone or in pairs to find information and are encouraged to explore the content of each Reference book.
Do let us know if you'd like us to concentrate on a specific subject/theme during the visit.
ICT Visits
Pupils are shown how to surf the Internet and use CDRoms to find and use subject/project based information.
IT visits are usually delivered in the 'Real' computer suites in our larger libraries.
