Indian Takeaway: one man's attempt to cook his way home.

Indian Takeaway is a riotous and insightful story of self-discovery as Hardeep retraces his ancestry by cooking his way around India, serving up very British meals for the people he meets. From his culinary encounters with a Goan fisherman and the Bollywood film crew to a Bangalore call centre and some Dehli socialites, he uncovers a very different side of India.  But how did they really cope with such British classics as fish and chips, shepherd's pie and cock-a-leekie soup?

Indian Takeaway is a culinary adventure, a food memoir, a traveller's tale and a very moving journey about one man finding himself.
