Glasgow City Council Welcome To Glasgow Information Pack

Glasgow City Council has recently published a revised 'Welcome to Glasgow' information pack for migrant workers from the Accession states. The pack provides basic information about migrant workers rights and responsibilities while living and working in Glasgow including:

  • finding work;
  • rights at work;
  • finding accommodation;
  • living in the community;
  • safety (fire safety, police, crime and driving)
  • health; and
  • right to stay in the UK.

The pack will be a useful tool for migrant workers wishing to settle and work in our city and has been published in Polish, Slovakian, Romanian and Czech. The aim therefore is to ensure that the pack reaches as many migrant workers living in the city as possible.

The information pack is available to download in English, PolishSlovak, Romanian and Czech.
