The farm provides the ideal opportunity for many inner city children, through school visits, to learn more about countryside life. Children get the opportunity to experience contact with many animals that may be unfamiliar to them, to gain a better understanding of the animals and the produce they provide us with.
From the inside of the classroom it can be difficult for children to gain a real understanding of the relevance of farming and livestock; the farm brings these subjects to life.
