Event: Spring Symphony: International Dawn Chorus Day

Join the Countryside Rangers at the break of dawn at Dawsholm Park to enjoy and celebrate nature’s daily miracle – The Dawn Chorus. Learn about bird song and the signs of Spring.

Event:     Meadow Making
Location: Pollok Country Park
Time:     1.30pm-3.30pm


Join the Countryside Rangers as we continue to turn the picnic area into a summer flowering meadow. Great for everyone to look at in the summer, even better as a food source for butterflies and birds.

Turn up at any time between 1:30 and 3:30 and make a difference. Suitable for all ages. Follow the signs from Pollok House to the meadow. Stout footwear and old clothes recommended. Call 0141 276 0924 for more details

Location: New Carmunnock Cemetery
Time:     12.30pm-3.30pm

Help enhance Dawsholm Park Local Nature Reserve for wildlife and people to enjoy. Come along and plant a wildflower meadow, see the Highland Cattle and take a guided wildlife walk starting from the marquee.
