Nurseries and Glasshouses
Glasgow City Council has two main plant production facilities at Bellahouston and Daldowie.

These growing faciliities are amongst the most modern in the British Isles. Automated techniques used for both seed sowing and transplanting ensure precision germination and growing. The environmental control system controlling both temperature and irrigation ensures that the optimum conditions are created for plant production.
