Take a drive along any of the major roads in Glasgow and marvel at the number of trees in this city. Go to any vantage point - a window in a multi-storey building or one of the many scenic points in our parks - and you will see a mass of greenery all around.

Glasgow City Council also provides some less well-known services for lovers of the outdoors:

To encourage more people to use the city's facilities we are continuously reviewing them. Some of our regeneration projects have included:
- installing all-weather tennis courts
- installing skateboard parks
- upgrading allotments
- upgrading playgrounds throughout the city
