Park Management Plans

 

Glasgow City Council are currently drawing up Park Management Plans for Glasgow’s parks.

The purpose of these plans is to make sure the parks we manage are:

  • Safe
  • Welcoming
  • Are well kept
  • Reflect the parks individuality and unique assets
  • Cater for the people of Glasgow and what they want
  • Are used to their full potential

Green Flag Status
Bellahouston Park, Glasgow Botanic Gardens and Glasgow Green all achieved Green Flag status this year, this is a national standard which recognises the best parks and Gardens in Britain.

Park Management plans are a key part of the Green Flag application process and your input will help to ensure that the Management Plans reflect the needs of our customers.
