
The Glasgow Sportsperson of the Year awards is one of the highlights of the Scottish sporting calendar. This prestigious event has a number of award categories producing winners from a diversity of sports. They aim to reward local talent, community coaching, team achievements, up and coming athletes and examples of outstanding dedication to sport.
The main award of the evening has been won by some of Scotland’s biggest sporting stars over the years including Stephen Hendry, Liz McColgan, Chris Hoy, Colin Montgomerie and Andy Murray.
Nominations are invoted from any individual or organisation wishing to nominate from the wide range of categories.
