GRAND - Getting Real About Alcohol N Drugs
Glasgow's GRAND Week 2008  

 

Getting Real about Alcohol 'N' Drugs Week will take place from Saturday 13th to Friday 19th September 2008

Glasgow GRAND week is organised and co-ordinated by the Communities Sub-group and brings together a broad range of partners to:

 

  • Raise awareness and increase knowledge of alcohol and drugs issues and services
  • Get communities involved in tackling alcohol and drugs
  • Build partnerships and networks between communities, services and organisations

The programme includes details of events and activities in each of Glasgow's five CHCP areas.

 

The week will kick off with a GRAND city centre showcase event in George Square on Saturday 13th September.  Come along between 12 noon and 4pm for fun, games, music and information.

Alcohol, Drugs and Violence Against Women: Exploring Links and Challenging Myths

 

This half-day seminar aims to expand knowledge and challenge myths around the complex relationships between alcohol and drug use and violence against women.
