Community Services

The functions previously carried out by Community Services and Glasgow Community Safety Partnership have now transferred to a new organisation, Glasgow Community and Safety Services.

GCSS is a limited company with charitable status, established by the City Council and other partners to take forward crime prevention measures and tackle antisocial behaviour, including violence against women.

Glasgow City Council's Community Services is part of Development and Regeneration Services.  The department provides a wide and varied range of services, focussing on:
