The Unit promotes internal communications, performance measurement and management. it co-ordinates policy responses, for example, the Antisocial Behaviour Strategy and Outcome Agreement. The Unit also oversees the introduction of new initiatives into the service and co-ordinates community responses to the Local Development Strategies produced by the planning sections within Development and Regeneration Services.
