Services for Young People

Services for Young People play an integral role in supporting and complementing the work of the Antisocial Behaviour Task Force by providing accessible and attractive youth provision.

The team works with a range of voluntary/statutory youth service providers to deliver innovative and creative youth work interventions.  Services for Young People, broker new services in partnership that engage young people, working alongside current providers.

The aim is to engage with hard to reach young people, encouraging them to have a sense of belonging within their community, in the hope that these interventions will reduce incidences of antisocial behaviour, through offering regular structured activity.

On a wider scale, Services for Young People acknowledge and encourage the views of young people, through healthy dialogue and consultation, to further develop and deliver sustainable programmes that address education, healthy lifestyles through sporting activities, challenging behaviour and socially inactive young people.
