The amount of Council Tax payable is based on the assumption that two adults are resident in the property.
Where a property is occupied by one adult a Single Person Discount of 25% will be given. (download application )
A Status Discount of 25% or 50% may apply if one or more of the following is resident:
A Second/Holiday home Discount of 10% may apply if an unoccupied property is not anyone's sole or main residence. No discount will be available on your water and waste water charges. (10% with effect from 01 April 2006) (download application)
