Direct Debit- the easy way to pay

You can save yourself time and money by paying your Council Tax by Direct Debit.
You can pay monthly on the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd or 28th of each month or pay fortnightly or four weekly every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks on a Friday.
To use our Paperless Direct Debit Facility phone 0845 600 8040 with your bank details or download the mandate.
Online payments
Glasgow City Council accepts Internet payments for Council Tax through our Online Payment Page.
Council Tax Quickcard
You can use your Glasgow City Council Quickcard to pay your Council Tax at any Post Office or Paypoint location citywide.

Credit or Debit Card Payments
You can pay your Council Tax by Debit or Credit Card. We accept Switch, Solo, Delta, Mastercard and Visa.

Please make Cheques/Postal Orders payable to "Glasgow City Council" and include your full name, address and Council Tax reference number.
Cash payments
You can make cash payments with your Quickcard at Post offices and Paypoint locations citywide.

Paypoints
Council Tax payments (cash only) can be made at over 150 Paypoints citywide. Details of your nearest Paypoint are available on the Paypoint website.
