The Mortgage to Rent appeals process
If Communities Scotland decides that you are not eligible to take part in the Mortgage to Rent scheme, you can appeal.
- If you are turned down after the initial assessment, you must appeal within five working days.
- If you are turned down after the detailed assessment, you must appeal within 10 working days.
Appeals are made to the Head of Investment and Performance within Communities Scotland. Communities Scotland then has five working days within which to consider the appeal.
