Care and Repair
Glasgow Care and Repair Service helps owner occupiers aged 60 or over living within the City boundary to arrange repairs, improvements or adaptations to their home so that they can live in comfort and safety.
The service is available to owners who have no adult family living with them. It provides eligible owners with free advice and assistance in obtaining quotations from reputable contractors.
Glasgow Care and Repair service gives priority to properties in most need of attention and householders in greatest need, including:
- those who are aged 60 or over
- living in unsatisfactory housing conditions
- people in poor health or with a disability.
