Youth Justice

 

 
  • Youth Services provides individuals and groups with activities. programmes, learning opportunities and events with the aim of reduction and prevention of anti-social behaviour.

 

  • Youth Services organise and deliver, in partnership with other agencies and organisations a range of late night diversionary activities in key areas, again to address anti-social behaviour.  (Whitehill weekend activities are an example in which Youth Services in partnership with other organsiations delviers a variety of activities from swimming to music at Whitehill Youth Wing.)

 

  • Youth Services also has links with Young Offenders Institutions, Social Work referrals; providing young people with 1:2:1 support and also supervision of Strathclyde Police Cadets, who join teams across the city for a period as part of their training.
