Play Services
make sure that everyone between 5 and 12 years of age gets the chance to have fun and makes time for play.
They do this in a few different ways:
*The right to play is enshrined in Article 31 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and Glasgow Life’s Play Development Team provides play activity sessions all year round. Play Sessions are lead by specially trained Playworkers and usually last for up to two hours. During the sessions children have the opportunity to choose what they do and this can be a mix of games, sports, arts & crafts. The emphasis is always on having fun! Sessions take place in local communities, indoors and outdoors and are suitable for children of primary school age.
