Maz, Assistant Manager gave her lowdown on the Halloween themed event at Easterhouse Pool
What a night, it was fantastic ... we had just over 500 party goers ... the DJ was playing spooky stuff like a bell ringing and wind blowing with crows crowing when the kids were coming in. Then he started playing music like "Thriller", "Monster Mash" and "Ghostbusters". We had turned the lights green and had a smoke machine blowing smoke into the pool ... can't wait until the Winter Wonderland Pool Parties now.
Jack (age 7) and Samantha (almost 4) loved the Halloween Pool Party at Tollcross
The Centre looked absolutely amazing. The decorations were fantastic. The best part was how much effort the staff had made with their costumes. They all deserved a prize. All of the staff were lovely and spent lots of time chatting to kids and parents.
The pool disco and inflatable were excellent. It was mad to be sprayed by a witch holding a hose as you tried to stay on the inflatable. My favourite pool activity was the "dooking in a spa of red blood".
The people doing the face painting were also brilliant. So much time was put into each face. My sister and I enjoyed the arts and crafts, the free fruit and juice and the Halloween Parade. Can't wait for the next fun day.
