Havana, Cuba
Twinning Agreement signed –2002

Havana is the capital of Cuba, which is the largest island of the Cuban archipelago.

Tourism has become the most dynamic sector of the Cuban economy. It replaced sugar as the main collective of convertible currency and produced more income than the whole export of goods. Emerging sectors have been created, transformed or strengthened. Among them are the biotechnology, medical equipment, the iron, steel and mechanical industries, informatics and communications.  These industries, find great support in the qualifications of their professionals and workers, health services, education, sports and other activities.
