Education Services Customer Involvement
Education Services aims to educate, care, support and protect the young people of Glasgow. To do this we deliver services in consultation with partnership agencies and users. We want children to receive all the help and support that they are entitled to while they make their way through their school years in Glasgow.
Over the last few years, a series of consultations with young people in the city has been developed and these arrangements have included:
-
The establishment of the city’s Student Council, comprising 2 senior pupils from each secondary school, meeting 4 or 5 times a year and at which they represent the views of the young people in our schools
-
The establishment and further development of Pupil Councils in many primary and secondary schools
