Glasgow City Council Social Work Services care for, protect and support people helping them to take responsibility for and control over their lives. To do this we deliver services in consultation and through involving service users, carers and working in partnership with other organisations.

Social Work Services provide information about the commitments we make to delivering services including the standards of service you can expect. Many of our services are also regulated by National Care Standards.

We also provide support to access our services where required for example, information, advocacy support, interpreting services.

Where we hold information about you, this will be treated confidentially and subject to data protection arrangements. We will also advise you on your rights to access information held about you.

Social Work Services provide the opportunity for people receiving services to comment, make suggestions or complain about the service received. This enables us to make continuous improvements to our services to meet needs and expectations.
