Social Work Service Standards

Social Work Services is committed to providing good quality care and support services. We are constantly looking for ways to improve these services, to make them easier to access and to ensure that we let people know what standard of service they can expect.

Our Commitment To You

Our commitment to service users covers:
confidentiality; equality; welfare rights advice; involving you in the service; making comments/complaint and carers rights.

Customer Charter

In 2005 we have introduced a Customer Care Charter.

National Care Standards

Many of the services we provide are required to meet National Care Standards which set out what service users can expect at all stages of their journey through a service.

National Objective and Standards for Social Work Services in the Criminal Justice System

Criminal justice services, their objectives, the general principles on which they are provided and the detailed standards which local authorities will require to meet are set by the Scottish Executive.
