You do not have to go to the Polling Station on election day to vote. You can now have your ballot paper sent to your home and vote by post.

Vote by Proxy

If you are physically incapable, ill or your employment takes you away from home you can apply to vote by post or appoint someone to vote for you (a Proxy).

• Application to Vote by Proxy Particular Election
  This should be used if the registered elector cannot vote in person at a particular election.
• Application to Vote by Proxy Incapacity
  This form should be used when the registered elector cannot be reasonably expected to vote in person because of physical incapacity.
• Application to Vote by Proxy Employment/Education
  This form should be used when the regsitered elector cannot vote in person due to employment or attendance at an educational course.
• Application to Vote by Proxy to Vote by Post
  A proxy should use this form if they want to vote by post.
