These publications contain the Financial Statements of the Council which have been compiled in accordance with the Code of Practice on Local Authority Accounting in Great Britain.
The Financial Statements comprise the following:
· a consolidated revenue account which provides a summary of the expenditure and income of the Council for the financial year
· a consolidated balance sheet which represents the position of the Council with all outside parties at the 31 March
· a housing revenue account which provides a summary of the expenditure and income for the financial year
· pension fund accounts
· common good and trust accounts
