About Glasgow Community Justice Authority (GCJA)
Glasgow Community Justice Authority (GCJA) brings together a wide range of agencies to reduce reoffending, improve the management of offenders and make Glasgow’s communities safer.
The role of the CJA is to plan, co-ordinate, monitor and report on the delivery of community justice services by local partners and what impact these services have on reducing re offending and making communities safer.
GCJA is led by an independent board drawn from elected members of Glasgow City Council. The board meets four times a year to monitor progress the CJA is making towards its aims, and to agree future action. Board meetings are open to the public and board papers and minutes are available on line at www.glasgowcja.org.uk.

GCJA Priorities
GCJA’s priorities are set out every 3 years in the Area Plan, with key actions outlined in the an annual Action Plan. The GCJA Area Plan 2008-11 and the action plan for 2010-11 are available on the website.
