Chief Executive Department
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
The Chief Executive Department works to facilitate the Council's objectives. We have three roles:
-
Strategic Management: Helping services to turn our Community and Council priorities into results.
-
Corporate Support Services: Providing the support that front line services need to work effectively
-
Service Delivery: Providing high quality servcies directly to the public and to customers inside the Council.
The Annual Performance Report sets out how the Chief Executive Department worked to develop the Council's vision of 'a prosperous city for all Glasweigans'. It looks at where we've been successful, where we need to improve, and what we will do to ensure improvement. This report focuses on 4 key areas:
-
What We Do: our role, our resources and the services we deliver
-
What We Have Achieved: our contribution to achieving the Council's key objectives and planned outcomes
-
How We Have Performed: our performance against the targets we set for the year
-
What This Means: Our focus on improvement and how we are working to deliver priorities for Glasgow
