Standards and Quality
It is a requirement for all education authorities to provide an annual Standards and Quality Report against the five National Priorities for Education.
Our report is about building on the successes in Glasgow’s education services and establishments and identifying key areas for improvement in terms of aiming for excellence in all that we do. These key areas for improvement will form the basis for our next Service Plan; they have also influenced our Local Improvement Plan (67k - 2 pages)
Inter Agency and Partnership Arrangements:
Education Services participates in many inter service, inter agency and partnership arrangements, including most aspects of the Children’s Services Plan, where key partners are Social Work Services and Greater Glasgow NHS Board.
Education Services takes the lead role in the following partnerships:
The public/private partnership relating to secondary school provision
Sure Start Ensuring a good start in life
New learning communities
Childcare Strategy and the Care Commission
