This is Glasgow’s fourth integrated children’s services plan called Glasgow Child and Family Services Plan 2009 – 2012.
The Plan is a working document for all those involved in children’s services and provides a framework for planning and service delivery, as well as meeting Scottish Government requirements and linking to local single outcome agreement. All partners are committed to working to achieve the objectives and vision detailed in the Plan.
All local authorities, with partners, are required by law to prepare, monitor and review plans relating to children’s services in their area. We have drawn on the views of children, young people, families and children’s services' staff in the City to finalise the content of the Plan.
An Executive Summary has been produced to provide an overview of the key aims of the Plan.
