Social Work Services Procedures: Statements of Best Practice

The following Statements of Best Practice in Joint Working between Glasgow City Council and Social Housing Providers are currently in the process of revision.

The documents which constitute the Statements of Best Practice are listed below. Each Statement is referenced with the group it relates to.

SWS SoBP 2 - Local Liaison Arrangements - revised version (November 2007).
SWS SoBP 3 - Sharing of Client Information - revised draft version for consultation (June 2008).
SWS SoBP 4 - Preventing Homelessness - revised version (April 2008).
SWS SoBP 5 - Ex-Offenders - only applies to Glasgow Housing Association (November 2007). Currently under revision to cover other RSL's.
SWS SoBP 6 -Young People Leaving Care - revised version (November 2007).
SWS SoBP 7 - Refugees and Asylum Seekers - currently being revised and updated.
SWS SoBP 8 - Housing with Support - revised version (April 2008).
SWS SoBP 9 - Provision of Equipment and Adaptations - revised draft version for consultation (June 2008)
SWS SoBP 10 - Domestic Abuse Nov 07 - revised version (November 2007).
SWS SoBP 11 - Homelessness Duty Protocol - revised version (November 2007).
SWS SoBP 12 - Joint Training - revised version (November 2007).
SWS SoBP 13 - Child Protection - issued November 2007.

Report on Statements of Best Practice Launch 7th February 2008. The attached summarises inputs and discussions on the day. The Powerpoint presentations made are also available.
