Culture and Sport Glasgow is the new company created to deliver cultural, leisure and outdoor recreation services for the city of Glasgow.

The aim of Culture and Sport Glasgow is to provide our customers with the very best in services and facilities and to ensure that these are:

  • in tune with customer and community needs central to the city's national and international profile
  • designed to improve the quality of life and the health of the citizens of Glasgow
  • widely accessible
  • cost effective
  • integrated

Culture and Sport Glasgow is responsible for the management of more than 140 facilities, including The Burrell Collection, The Mitchell, Tramway and a network of state-of-the-art leisure centres.


 
There are 13 Museums and Galleries, including The Gallery of Modern Art, Museum of Transport and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.


 
Culture and Sport Glasgow also looks after a network of 23 Pools and Leisure Centres throughout  the city, including Scotstoun Leisure Centre and National Badminton Academy, Tollcross Park Leisure Centre and
Glasgow Green Football Centre.

 

There are 34 Community Libraries with integrated Real Learning Centres.
 
There are 42 Community Centres across the city, providing services and facilities at the heart of local communities.
 
A number of major arts venues are managed by Culture and Sport Glasgow and these include
Tramway, The Mitchell Theatre and The City Halls.
