Education Provision
The Education Department provides an education service through 30 secondary schools, 149 primary schools and 52 schools and units that make special provision for children and young people who have additional support needs.
There are 116 Early Year establishments. Free part-time early years education places are available for all pre-school year children, and for many there are also places for children aged 3 years old.
