Glasgow City Council – Procurement Programme – Land Services Suppliers Forum

 

Procurement within GCC accounts for over £500m spend per annum. The objective of the e-procurement Implementation Programme is to gain both Efficiencies & Overall Benefits for GCC & Suppliers in all related procurement activities.

The Programme will be phased in over a 5-year period, with five departments implementing cutting edge technology (PECOS/SAP) in Phase 1. This phase will see up to 800 users using the technology to raise orders, receipt goods and pay invoices to 127 of the Council’s preferred suppliers.
