Volunteers are required to serve on one of the 6 sub-committees of the Children's Panel Advisory Committee (CPAC) in Glasgow.

The CPAC sub-committees have an important role to play in the operation of the Children's Hearings System.  The main duties include

• selecting people as children's panel members by means of interview and group discussion
• observing panel members at children’s hearings
• re-appointing panel members
• considering local training needs and administration

No formal qualifications are required as appropriate training will be provided.

These positions are open to people who live within the City of Glasgow or the immediate surrounding area.
