Our Council's remit to deliver outstanding modern public services to the people of Glasgow - our customers. To do this effectively, the people in this organisation - our staff - must be equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to carry our their jobs to the highest possible standard to make sure we provide first-class services.
Our People Strategy allows us to take a considered and planned approach to developing people across the Council. We recognise the good work that has already been done in Service Departments and we want to make sure that good practices are adopted consistently across the organisation. We believe that staff, no matter where they work within the Council should be treated fairly and have access to development on an equal basis.
