Glasgow Digital City Award 2005 Civic Reception and Prizegiving

The award winners in the Glasgow Digital City Award 2005 competition were announced at a Civic Reception hosted by Bailie Alan Stewart and held in Glasgow City Chambers on 20 June 2005.

During the  Civic Reception and Prizegiving,  Bailie Stewart, ICT Spokesperson to the Council said:

"It is very appropriate that our ceremony takes place at the end of Glasgow's time as Intelligent Community of the Year, a global award, which recognised the benefits the City and its people are deriving from the use of technology. The applications have been of a very high standard and help to give an insight into the impact this can have on real people and their opportunities in life."
