An event that brings out the pride in Scotland every year

Be inspired by the athletes of the Commonwealth Games and join the biggest running event in Scotland,
Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run! Taking place in Glasgow on Sunday 5 October this year, promising
yet another amazing event on the running calendar.

Runners can choose between a 10k and half marathon challenge that will take them through the heart of the
city, starting in George Square and finishing at Glasgow Green. 2013 was another record breaking year for
the event with more than 30,000 participants of all ages lining up to enjoy the weekend and achieve their running goals.

And there's a great programme for kids too! On Saturday 4 October, kids from 0-15 years old can get involved
with a full programme of family events that include the Toddler Dash, Mini Run and Junior Run.


BBC Good Food Show
18 - 20 October

The BBC Good Food Show returns to Glasgow this October for a seasonal celebration of Scotland's
finest food, drink and live cooking. Join us for a fantastic day out full of tasting, sampling, shopping
and inspiration from celebrity chefs and acclaimed Scottish food heroes. New this year, every
advance ticket includes a FREE seat in the Supertheatre†.
